The 2021 Land Pride RCR2596 is a heavy-duty, dual-spindle rotary cutter designed for maintaining pastures, roadsides, field edges, conservation acreage, and large properties requiring efficient vegetation management. Power is transmitted through a three-gearbox driveline system featuring a center splitter gearbox and two outboard gearboxes. The center gearbox is rated at approximately 100 horsepower, while the outboard gearboxes are rated at 60 horsepower each. A slip-clutch protected driveline and splined rubber flex couplers help protect the gearbox components from shock loads when encountering stumps, rocks, or other obstructions. A heavy-duty stump jumper further protects the blade carrier and gearbox output shafts while allowing the cutter to glide over obstacles. The RCR2596 utilizes two free-swinging heat-treated blades mounted on a heavy blade carrier. The cutter is capable of handling grass, weeds, and brush up to approximately 1.5 inches in diameter, making it well suited for pasture maintenance, roadside mowing, and land-clearing applications. Adjustable cutting heights ranging from approximately 2 to 12 inches allow operators to tailor cutting performance to varying field conditions and vegetation types.
