The John Deere 790 model is one of the best 30 HP range tractors ever made. It has the highly respected, smooth running 30 HP Yanmar 3-Cylinder Diesel engine. We feel these may be the best compact diesel engine there is made today and they are well known to last several thousand hours or more with regular maintenance. Pre emission too. In addition, excellent clutch and standard gear transmission too. The easy-to-use standard transmission is powerful, quick and will last a lifetime. The gear shift lever selects 1 of 4 Forward gears or can go reverse. The Range shift lever selects a high or low range giving you 8 Forward and 2 Reverse gear.
