Here is a 30 HP vintage Ford 8N tractor. Runs great video available and has the hard to find Sherman Hi-Low Transmission with a speed in High up to 25 MPH! (a normal 8N goes to 13.8 MPH in standard 4th). It has the famous Ford 4-Cylinder 2.0L Gasoline Engine too and tires are very good as shown. Runs and operates very good as it should too.
If you know the Ford 8N it is considered one of the most popular tractor models ever made due to their simple, excellent design and their workhorse capabilities. The 8N Serial is: 8N 321311.
This tractor upon arrival was inspected by our Service Dept. and all basic operations and lights were working as they should and all. (except AMP gauge is inoperable and the hours show 602 but not turning though the rest of the tach is working and looks to be its original tachometer). The inspection report is available. What makes this particular 1950 Ford 8N rarer is the 4-Speed transmission WITH the Original Sherman Step Up / Down Transmission (one from a parts tractor was sold this month online for $1,250 and $175 shipping which we have the link to). So this Sherman trans. makes your standard 8N Ford 4F/1R transmission a 12-Speed (12F/4R) to operate at extra high & extra slow speeds. The 1.5 foot High lever is located on the left drivers side of the tractor just in front of the clutch pedal area as you can see.
