Ford 5000 Tractor with Berends Slasher – Private Sale by Peter and Judy Delves
For sale is a 1968 Ford 5000 tractor (built 21st November 1968), powered by the 4.2 litre 4-cylinder diesel producing 70 HP, with an 8-speed manual transmission (4 gears across 2 ranges), 2-wheel drive, power steering and 3-point linkage. The hour meter stopped at 6,800 hours, with an estimated 3,000 hours since, giving approximately 9,800 total.
This has been an honest, reliable tractor that was serviced regularly throughout its working life. It has not been used since 2014, when we purchased a new tractor. The last oil change and grease was carried out in May 2025 and it has not been used since, and a new battery was also fitted in May 2025.
Rear tyres are at 80%, front tyres were new in 2016, and the seat has been re-upholstered. The air conditioner has not been used for around 15 years but can be re-activated. The cab doors were removed around 2008.
Included in the sale is a Berends 150 (5') slasher with adjustable skids, offset capability and a jockey wheel attached.
