Toro Expands Electric Equipment Portfolio With Launch Of Greensmaster e1026

Toro is expanding its all-electric, walk-behind greens mower options with the arrival of the new Greensmaster e1026. Compared to battery-powered, 53.3-centimetre (21-inchr) Greensmaster e1021 and eFlex 1021, the Greensmaster e1026 offers a wider mowing width of 66 cm (26 in.) while providing the same quiet operation and eliminating engine exhaust emissions.

“We’re excited to add another battery-powered option of a customer favorite to the growing fleet of electric and hybrid Toro products,” says Toro Global Product Marketing Manager Jeff Drake. “More and more, superintendents want to increase productivity while decreasing disruptions on the course—and switching to battery-powered equipment is one way they can. The Toro family of electric greens mowers is among the quietest walk greens mowers on the market today.”

Quality Cut

Cutting height ranges from 1.6 to 16 millimetres (0.062 to 0.625 in.). Intuitive operator controls, such as an easy-to-reach reel engage lever, make it simple for grounds crew to operate the machine and reduce the potential for error. A telescoping loop handle lets operators quickly adjust the Greensmaster e1026 to their height preference, which Toro says reduces fatigue and helps ensure a consistent cut. The mower can slow down or come to a full stop during turn around, without disengaging the traction, to precisely line up the next mowing pass.

Cutting Unit Accessories

Similar to the gasoline-powered Toro Greensmaster walk-behind mowers, the Greensmaster e1026 works with detachable cutting unit options with 8-, 11-, or 14-blade EdgeSeries reels. Operators can easily unbolt and replace a cutting unit for service, simplifying maintenance. Toro also offers a wide selection of bedknife, groomer, scraper/brush, and roller options to fit your playing surface preparation requirements.
