Toro’s New Vista Guest Shuttle Transports Up To 8 Passengers; Battery-Electric Option Available

Toro recently introduced its new Vista guest shuttle. The Vista is designed with resorts, stadiums, universities, and municipalities in mind and comes in configurations for four, six, or eight passengers. Owners can also choose between EFI gas and lithium-ion powertrains.

“We are thrilled to add Vista to our product lineup and make Toro a single source for utility vehicles,” says Toro Product Marketing Manager Marissa Garin. “Vista smoothly and efficiently transports—and impresses—guests, students, fans and other visitors with style and ease. It’s made to move passengers around all sorts of settings and events, from resorts, campus tours, and sporting venues to special events.”

Construction & Options

The Vista has TPO plastic in the body panels, which makes it easy to add branding using decals, wraps, or paint. Front and rear independent suspension along with plenty of legroom and onboard storage provides a smooth, comfortable ride. The fold-down rear seat has grip texture and a lip around the edge that enables it to be used to store large items like boxes or luggage and will keep them in place throughout transport. Optional accessories available include a canopy, a folding windshield, turn signals, a beacon, side mirrors, a rearview mirror, a wide-angle mirror, a wink mirror, and a light-duty cargo bed.

The electric option is powered by Toro HyperCell lithium-ion batteries that can be recycled via a third-party programme when the batteries reach the end of their life. There is an option to add additional power on lithium shuttles to increase their range. Lithium-powered Vistas have an automatic parking brake that activates once the vehicle comes to a stop. Operators can view speed, battery level for electric models, fault codes, and other information on a dash-mounted LCD screen.
